    Sara Stockmann is an internationally acclaimed film producer who has produced more than 30 documentary films and series since 2005. Several of her films have received international recognition, including Janus Metz’s Cannes- and Emmy-winning documentary Armadillo and the Tribeca-awarded Bobbi Jene by Oscar-nominated director Elvira Lind. In 2025 she produced the Korean/Danish narrative feature Hana Korea which won the audience Award at Busan International Film Festival.

    In 2024, Sara was honored with both The Nordic Producer Award by the Board of Nordisk Panorama and the prestigious IB Award, presented by the Danish Film Directors Association to courageous, innovative, and rebellious Danish film producers.

    Sara Stockmann is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. From 2013 to 2021, she served as chairman of the Documentary Council at the Danish Film Institute, appointed by the Danish Minister of Culture.

  • Production Manager / Line Producer / Producer

    Line Aas Sørensen has been part of Sonntag Pictures since 2024, where she oversees production management across the company’s documentary slate. She has worked across a range of Sonntag’s international documentary productions, including line producing Elvira Lind’s King Hamlet, The End of Quiet, and Jella Bethmann’s Plaza Romani. She also line produced the international feature film Hana Korea, directed by Frederik Sølberg and produced as a Danish-Korean co-production.

    In 2025, Line was selected for Nordic Forum with We Are Not Leaving, marking her debut as an international documentary producer. The project reflects her expanding role from production management and line producing into international creative documentary production.

    Line Aas Sørensen comes from a background as line producer of the documentary series Velkommen til frontlinjen at Hansen & Pedersen from 2020-2024, and has produced several short films, spanning fiction, documentaries, and video art. Her films have been screened at festivals such as Sheffield DocFest, Göteborg Film Festival, Haugesund Film Festival, and Odense International Film Festival. Her most recent short documentary, Sit. Play. Stay. won the award for Best Danish Documentary at Odense International Film Festival in 2024, and her latest short fiction film, Seeking Hwa Sun was nominated for a Robert Award 2025. 

    She holds a degree in Communication from the Danish School of Media and Journalism, graduating in 2022. During her studies, she was an exchange student in Media and Communication Management at Macromedia University in Berlin.
